Did a lot of acting as a child appearing in Sam, Z cars,The Extaordinary People Show, Intensive Care ( Alan Bennet play) and Threads

Studied at The Leeds College
 
Toured europe in a Rock covers band as keyboard player

Joined The Anita Madigan Band and started writing songs.
 
Played live and made the finals on Jonathon Ross's 'Big Talent Show' with a song penned by himself and Anita
Also made the last 8 in the eurovision with a song also penned by Dave and Anita

Joined Mickey Finns T-Rex
 
Wrote songs for Tinka (Soraya Vivian) Twin, Kay Louise Watts, Fy8, Stacy Gaunt,The Lords,Nick Page 

Wrote songs with Steve Chrisanthou (Corrine Bailey Rae) Mike Terry (Steelworks,Blue,Top Loader) Nigel Wilson (Fame Academy) Andy Spence (Sony)

Formed a writing team KDN productions with former fame academy runner up Nigel Wilson and Kay Louise Watts

Gigs and sessions  with John Parr, Mick McConnel (Smokie), Mickey Finns T-Rex,  Graham Oliver (Saxon) toured Russia with Alan Silson (Smokie)

Still gigging writing and producing today
